Mama and baby

Hi everyone,

Remember I said yesterday how long could I string the chickie cards out? Well, here's the latest card I've created...

See the joke? STRING the cards out? I apologize for my twisted sense of humor! For this card, I've matted and layered the pastel spotty and a marble-like cream paper and added them to the base. Then, using the templates from Papercraft Inspirations, I've cut the pieces for the Mama and baby and the egg shapes from coordinating scraps of pastel card from my stash. Mama's body and the little one's wing is from textured cream card. I then used three different embossing folders on Mama's wing and the eggs (the cream egg is the same folder as the wing). To complete the design, I've added double sided tape to the reverse of both wings and attached some blue twine, before adding the wings to the birds with foam dimensionals. The inspiration for the card came from the latest issue of the Papercraft Inspirations magazine.

Have a great weekend and I'll see you on Monday.

Much love,
